The streets of
Avignon
July in Avignon is
really crowded. They
have an annual arts and
theatre festival which attracts people from all over Europe. They
have an 'army' of young people who run all over town to hang posters
of each event. It is amazing.
As you can see, a very
historically picturesque old
city. Full of narrow
laneways and ancient buildings - all still in everyday use.
